A video which explains the role of Police and Crime Commissioners in just 60 seconds has gone live.
The short animation, produced by the Norfolk PCC’s office, aims to give people a general overview of the role and work of the commissioners.
Stephen Bett, Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk, said: “PCCs have only existed for two-and-a-half years and so it is understandable that some people don’t know exactly what we do. People are not quite sure and it is a question I am often asked when I am out and about in the county.
“With that in mind, this short film has been produced to give people the main points in a minute. It was created in-house at a cost of around £50.
“Obviously the video only scratches the surface of the role and there is a vast amount more to it such as championing survivors and victims, working closely with key partners and distributing millions of pounds of funding to local organisations and projects making a difference to Norfolk people’s lives.
“For a more detailed look at our work, I would urge people to explore our website – www.norfolk-pcc.gov.uk – but the video will give them a flavour in 60 seconds.”
